Server D100 ILO¶

The Server D100 allows management control from HPE ILO v6 (Integrated Lights Out) via the first Ethernet port. It is accessed by using a web browser to visit the corresponding IP address.

It includes 3 years of iLO Advanced. This is enabled with the included license # entered in the Administration>

Many settings can be configured in iLO, although these should be changed with care as the unit has been configured at the factory for reliable, secure operation. One important option that may need adjusting is the fan setting. The default setting of "Enhanced CPU Cooling" should provide reliable and cool operation when used in a climate controlled environment.

If used outside of climate control, the fans will speed up and produce increased fan noise. If there are still thermal issues, and the unit can't be placed in a cooler environment, the fan configuration may need to be changed to an alternate option which will result in louder fan noise.

Another common application will be to configure ILO to enable SNMP management.
