Meters and Gauges¶

The Symetrix Meters are modularly configurable bar graph style meters, using peak detection. They span a range of +0dBFS down to -72dBFS. There is a numeric readout of the meter’s peak value. The maximum value will be retained until manually cleared by the Peak Reset button.

In addition to standard bar graph style meters, Composer also provides Gauges. These peak meters are similar in appearance to the more familiar VU style meters and offer a different more graphical, manner of monitoring levels. They span a range of +0dBFS down to -72dBFS. There are no controls.
