Installing SymVue on Clients

SymVue is available from the Symetrix web site as its own separate installer for client distribution.

Get SymVue from the Symetrix web site: www.symetrix.co

From the Symetrix web site (http://www.symetrix.co):

  1. Download the Composer or SymVue-only software installer from the Symetrix web site.
  2. Double-click on the file you just downloaded and follow the on screen directions to install.

Using SymVue on Your Dedicated Controller PC

SymVue runs .svx files created and exported from Composer. See SymVue Export Wizard for instructions on creating and exporting SymVue files from Composer.)

Double-clicking the saved .svx file will automatically open an instance of SymVue. After launching SymVue, if security is enabled, you will be prompted to enter the password with the computer’s keyboard or the on-screen SymVue keyboard.

Note: Choosing to display the on-screen keyboard does not disable typing on your computer’s keyboard. If the password is a match, navigation continues and the SymVue panel opens.
