Trim Modules¶
You may add your own label to any channel by clicking the legend below Trim modules. Compared to the gain modules they offer a range of -24dB to +24dB, instead of -72dB to +12dB. So, the trim modules have a range of 48dB of gain, where the typical mixer fader permits 84dB of gain. Trim modules are sometimes a more useful range of adjustment, e.g., for signals coming directly from the analog input stage. They also offer a mute button and use less DSP resources than the gain modules.
Versions with 1, 2, 4, 8, 12, 16, and 32 inputs are available.
All sizes have the following controls:
Gain. Determines the amount of boost or cut applied. Adjust using the slider or double-click the text entry box to specify a numerical value.
Mute: Pressing this button mutes the output.
